About

Hi, my name is Tom Walters, I live in the UK and I design websites. I like to blog about all things web-related and hopefully help people out who are stuck. Over the years I've found answers to all sorts of questions over the internet when I have been in difficult situations. This blog is my way of giving something back - cheesy, but true. Furthermore it's a place where I can get down on paper, or rather pixels, my thoughts, ideas and hopes. I am always open to suggestion when it comes to posting on my blog, but for most of the time I will be blogging about everything and everything I find useful, and that I think you might too.
I always try to look on the bright side of life, so even when things don't look that good, I'll try to run with it. I am a strong believer in innovation as opposed to evolution and reproduction. In other words I to start with a blank canvas and begin, as opposed to building upon something else. This is important to me because I hate visiting sites that have obviously taken large elements of other sites and used them as their own.
So what is the point/goal/vision of Tom's Big Box? Well I just want to help out that person that is searching around the internet for the solution to a really annoying solution, because I've been there all too often. And I believe that my real-word experience of building websites can help me uncover solutions to problems that will later benefit at least one person.
If you have any ideas for anything at all (as long as it is related to me) feel free to contact me and I will try to help.
And I use a nice shiny 27" iMac to craft my websites.
